Pittsburgh, Penn. August 23. Saturday. Another fair day and I am ready to start for Cincinnati. The train on the P.R.R. starts at 9 o'clock standard time. Schonely Hotel and Apartments is a very large affair, and was built late in last century, probably proving to be Carnegie Library and Museum. Arrived on time (8:45 & Standard) at Cin- ci where Alice and Albert were awaiting me. Then a long auto ride to the home of Lester Road, Pleasant Ridge. Talked old time Cinti, the war, and other things. Cincinnati (Sunday) Aug 24. Talked over family affairs all the morn- ing. In the afternoon we visited to the Cemetery to see Emmas grave beside our parents.
