Lakeland Jan. 13-1939 Professor Chittenden arrived this afternoon at 3.40. Train on time. He looked tired from the trip. Lakeland, Jan. 28-1939 Was asked by Mr. Wright of Dan gan to visit him and to meet his son Electrician in the Navy. He is much interested in geology. Found him reading Wales Architecture of the Earth's Crust, recently published. Had an enjoyable three talking science with Mr. Wright and Mr. Hart (son in law of the elder Wright).
