Saturday Sep. 15 - 1934 A splendid warm sunny day. Wrote up my notes after breakfast. Then visited the Peter Redpath Museum. See my notes in small and pocket book. Had lunch at Childs Restaurant, and rode in the Rubber Duck Bus to the top of Mount Royal, about 600' high. Mount Royal is further E. and stands at 730'. Air a little too thick to see the Adirondacks, but the S.E. saw cornel the Montreign Hills; the prominent part of St Lawrence Fore- land Plain. In the evening went to The Morris. Sunday, Sep. 16 - 1934 Left Montreal at 8.30 A.M. and got to St. Albans at 10.31 A.M. Put up as usual at The Taran. A fine day, but threatened rain.
