At 9.30 we left Salem and on the way visited the Battlefield of Lexington Bridge. Then he came to the Cemetery of Concord to see the grave of Emmerson, Thoreau (him) Alcock and others.
Back to the Lawn Club at New Haven at 4.45 P.M.
The trip was a more interesting one and of considerable importance in getting information for our contemplated work on Otisil Charles Marsh.
