"New Haven, Monday Oct. 9-1938
A foggy but otherwise fine morning.
The train is on time. The beautiful Hudson Valley is rounded by fog. Had coffee for breakfast and the whole trip to me personally than on any day during this trip.
Left New York for New Haven at 2 P.M. Was back in my rooms at 4:15 PM. Then to the Museum and my desk.
Met Langwell at N.Y. and had lunch with him.
