Madison, Monday Oct 2-1933 Spent first of the day at the home of Drise. Called on Prof. Leik and saw Dr. Tracitus, & Baa - . The latter to send me some of the Mrs. Combsia hutchinsos of Wisconsin. She is at work on a study of Ophiurids. Ideas & genera and other things as many species. Has 10 or 20 plates of them - photo of the specimens. Is at work on them for five years and has no ones completed. I promised to send her titles of the papers of David on Polych. worms, and the papers by the Vienna specialist of crustacea. In the evening Dretn called and we had a long talk on three paleontologic and text-books. Her recent studies and facts give clues for coming men of importance. Is much interested in biographies & geologists.
