Tampa, April 2-1934
Left Clearwater on the 11:45 bus
for Tampa. Had a light lunch
and then took the Port Tampa trolley
for Ballast Point about four
miles to the N.W. Got about
as many ants as before, but no
one will ever again succeed in
gathering what De Soto Burns collected
for Shell - nearly 300 species of
ant-lives, and 17 of queens.
Left back to Osceola Inn
at 7:30 P.M.
