Transcription
Wisconsin. A large mass of gneiss ore, from Empire Mine, Platteville, Wis. 3ft x 3 x 1. A good number of granite cubes about one foot square. Also sandstone and limestone. A small granite exhibit but nothing very distinctive. Best they a section of a ledge along some of strata 12x12 feet. Bedford and oslite A large cut stone exhibit. Not finished. No smaller exhibits. Large onyx exhibit in connection with Vermont Slate Co., 27 large slabs shown. Very great variety! Can't find out the name of the exhibitors. Later shown by the International Onyx and Marble Co., Denver, Colo. New Jersey Has a plaster restoration of Hadrosaurus. Attracts much attention before don't want it July 8-1904
