Oct 28 Wednesday A bright morning with local showers in the afternoon and evening. Just about getting used to the sea. Oct 29 Thursday A cold raw day with much wind. The ship leans considerably in the morning. Start date to have my meals in the dining room. The room steward Mr. Gimmer brings them to my room and leaves.
