Tf of pedestals of mammalia sanded, margin painted flored. Effect good. Shelves in mammal cases of glass with the edges ground and polished, held by a wire frame going to the four corners of cases, Thus Man and horse skeletons also here, Showing one half has a skin to show relation bones to skin. Big stump of roots of Lipillaria dere. About 3 feet in diameter. Each root bifurcates but once. All of these roots are marked by leaf scars. From the roof of the Oregon & ft coal mine. Many recent mollusca show liery love in small white cancers. Some cancers are bast. Mounted on glass and shown ver- tically. Tallet held in place by a wire frame going all around the shelf, Thus
