Top of Elairbach Gr has late w. hloydolithus lloydi & this is restricted to known in Meadotown w. Gylpograpthus Trisintia prototyp in Bettow Beds. Below Benton & Meadowtown is Weston Fm & this contains Didymograptus murchisonii v.; Elairbach Gr = Weston Fm. Bergstrom disagrees - then disagreement by A. Williams on where is teretiusculosa Zone G. Elles never mapped this in the field; she tried to substantiate Lapworth's framework of 1910. First of all by combining w. Elbed (2 bright young things from Birmingham) who had to keep busy. Then in 1930s a post-doct. at Newnham College was given the job of mapping the Bulth area & the teretiusculosa zone. This gal enlarged Geol. Surv. map of area; did no mapping
