Had received my new canvas in the morn-
ing + gotten my things pretty well together
so that it did not take my long to get
my [illegible] baggage all in order and hav-
ing paid my adieux to Mrs Bryder +
had a farewell cup of tea with [illegible]
Mrs W, Mr Bryder and Thorsen. I got
away for the south at 3:12 p.m. on Olee's
[illegible] Kahmvotik, 8 dog, + another
4 dog sleigh with my baggage. Was
on the sea ice around Sandersons hope
and reached Kaersok without incidents
or trouble at 6:40 Had coffee and
good meat in the cafe of Peter Lestrom
schoolmaster. He is 4 years old and guessed
me to be 65! He had gotten 3 seals today
while other men got none. Mountains
here are 2 to 4000 ft high + [illegible] present
very picturesque appearance with their
precipitous walls. New line is the
new noted from the "Clive" in 1915
as being somewhat like entrance to
Yoremlite Valley.
