45 0'-3.0 Sandstone, fine-grained with greenish cast moderately x laminated (lens) 44 6.41 Claystone, silty clay, chiefly clay gray to black. 43 2.5 Sandstone green, fine-grained, fizzitic (lens) 42 10.5 Claystone, silty, clay, with lower 3 or 4 ft black- towns noticeable blacker base to upper clay beds. 41 20.5 Claystone, hard, brownish with ferruginous specks, silty to very silty, weather gray with yellowish cast. Upper 2' is clayey siltstone. 40 24.0 Claystone, silty, clay, with about 10 ft sandy clayey siltst at top, grading to clay to black silty clay.
