The coaly sh. under Plainview
memb is 3or4 ft thick -- not 12
as he has it, black wash coals
underlying grey silt in Lytlo
and makes dark zone look
thicker.
The top ss of Sa Pl. -- its absence or
reduction is problem. Also fact
that Tom & Doves sections seem
different (in Sa Platte fm.) is odd
