Plainview ss well developed, has coaly shale under it and siltstone or czvb ss at contact Disconformity -> ss- coaly sh. 1'3' czvb ss or siltst. 6''-1' grey sandy clzystone At Tom's locality suspect upper contact is faulted as Mowry is next to piety, czlc, siltst. with fossils and so. Platte section seems forshortend. Also dubious of some of his thicknesses. The coaly sh. under Plainview memb is 3or4 ft thick -- not 12 as he has it, black wash coals underlying grey silt in Lytlo and makes dark zone look thicker. The top ss of Sa Pl. -- its absence or reduction is problem. Also fact that Tom & Doves sections seem different (in Sa Platte fm.) is odd 65
