Sandstone, white coarse + mud + ckt 8.5 Claystone, green with purple mottling loc, + some dk red, at base fragments of what looks like porcellanite, white, rounded. 9.0 Claystone, ?-above chiefly red silty + some gray mottling 50+ Claystone, very sandy gray 18.0+ Claystone, loc silty green grading from red below to gray above. Fe pellets below 3' from top. Gray soft clsty at top Contact Fine grained SS. This is friable for about foot then thin Fe brown ledge. To NNW this becomes massive brown channel sand. 56
