porcelanitic? 3.5 Siltstone, light gray w[or]k[?] white, looks tuffaceous. 9.6 Claystone, gray, silty at base locally fragmental, hard becoming softer at top, Under gray popcorn surface. 6.0t Sandstone, med-coarse, soft x-bedded, with claystone pallots in lower part, Light gray. Many dark grains. 6.5 Claystone, silty at base hard dk gray grades up to lighter gray + ver purple cl[as]t. 52.0t Sandstone, chiefly med-gr, greenish tan to red, ss. much dk minerals, contains polished pabbles. Grades, in upper red part to hard claystone with vitreous greenish stuff in it - welded tuff? See sample, from Loc 1 55
