doc.502 D1801 [6243] Nouuan fauna, from part of the Nouuan formation exposed in zone of reverse faulting in front of Bannock thrust on slope above U.S. 89 west of Garden City, Randolph Quad, Utah. How much of fa. is present is questionable. Fossils appear to come from upper part, stratig. under Qtzite (Worm Creek) at base St. Charles. No faults apparent betw. Worm Creek & fossil beds, but could conceivably be bedding thrusts present. See reports of Forbes 1950 and Colton & Douglass 1949.
