Locality 4, section (2). Upper part of Dakota on road (colo. 9) N end of bridge, 2nd ch around into grp on dirt road, SE cor sec 5 and SW cor sec. 4, T18S, R. 71W, (actually 14 Eightmile Park according to map. Benton Shale - weathered crumbly yellowish slope 1.0 + Sandstone, fine-grained, dirty with plenty particles, non-calcereous, may have Fe cement locally. Upper part weathers yellow dry soft, lower blakrish. 2.7 Shale gray to dark gray, silty some thin siltstn beds. Locally - at top is thin porcellanite 1.14 Sandstone, fine gr, silty with interbeds dk-gr sandy siltst. at top 2u plzly clt-gray siltst. in basal 0.6. 0.3-0.4 Porcellanite.
