Chou City zrcz (cuml) Parkdale section #1 - About center 5½ S½ sec. 7 T.18 S, R. 71 W. pieced from exposures around small Dakota-cropped butte just N of where U.S. 50 crosses Aokzuszs River, Gravel czp on soft beds with some brown-worth fine ss silts. 6) 29.0± Sandstone, massive, cross lammelled, fine to medium-grained. Local beds at shly ss a silty lenses. One of these about 1.5 below top. Weathers light brown, but some dark Fe bru surfaces. 5) 541.0± Sandstone, similar to above but crossbedded, somewhat more friable weathers yellowish-gray, basal 25' has coarse to quite lenses. 4) 9.5± Shly zone obscured by wash, Flost of thin lammelled platy siltstone some silty shale no details 3) 26.0 Sandstone fine to coarse + chlite; bosal 6 to 7' is massive x lzm and fine-grained. Above this pzt local unconf with chert + qzite pebble cgl up to 1.5, upper pzt tabular, badd, brn worth. 17
