At base this bed has the odd U-shaped worm casts that Kessler ss has-seen simple See 55-4 - across quillly to N of loc & partiall exposure of shelly beds between basal sandstone of Dakota and one above. Top of basal Dak. ss - measuring up. 6) 14. - chiefly shale, lite bluegray silky at base to liquidic- brownish black above. Chiefly observed, no details available. 5) 10. - interbedded siltstone, silky lig. sh and fine grained sandstone. Basal foot is Orange stained frizzle ss quill, sitting on lig clay of interbed below. Above this uvry (interbedded + x bedded) mass of ss, all soft, + siltst. both interlam with carb shelly layers. Some pretty lig, siltst. 4) 3.14 - Sandstone, fine-gr, locally silky, in irreg Xbed lenses, soft, continuous with unit below. With gray-white G-Fe ston silty zone at top. 3) 13.17 Sandstone, fine-med, massive xlam.
