Chiefly This unit hzd Cope gray, one red zone near Nipple quarry. top + green one at base. (Joe has nipple sect.) 6.0 Sandstone, fine qr, very bedded to platy, loq: silty with some silty clstn ptnqs, mottled pinkish gray [* E.D. Cope] 16.3 Claystone, hard, nonzcle, silty loc sandy 2f z about 5 + 12' from base. Red in lower 5', then 5 greenish gray, +gray, remainder is red.
