(1) Bulldozed area in basal Benton shale and transition beds to Dakota.
(2) Bulldozer cuts in swale's between ss beds - western hole probably 2nd s4 and ss west of it the 2rd? Eastern hole probably on main clay bed.
Clay in dozer trench with beat at base - silty, plastic cl.
SS ledges on either side (EW) weathered by pines.
Wof ss below cl is soft plastic clay prob not in place.
