Thin silts tone + fine ss with same shaly ptngs E 2.2 Interbedded silty sh, shaly siltst. and some plty beds. Arcelas into interval above but is more shaly. Lower 0.3 silt,plty. F 1.2 Fine ss, loc. salty, massive, light gray, worm-worked. Crabs matter, worm? G 0.1 Bentonite [sample 3] H 1.6 Sandstone as in F above I 0.1-0.2 Beat? clay [Sample 4] for J 12.6 Sandstone as in F, with foot thin beds of shale and plty siltsto. K 11.8 As above but more siltsto than ss, higher carb & jagill content - as very laminas messed by worm-working? cemented up to 2" Fe bands increasingly common downward.
