Alameda bentonites - Sample 1. Base main
clay (what's left of it). Atypical - a
soft bentonite deposited to thickness
as much as 2' in coarsly cross-
rippled area where intersecting
crests as much as 3' apart.
May be 2 bentonites have separated
by silty sh. - Possibly upper is in
top of bog.
