Little Thompson Lytle section Thickness of 3rd SS variable. Probably is between 20 and 30 ft over most of this area. Conspicuously eueubedded, brown-weathering. Forms long dip slopes on flanks of structures. Almost completely roofs Rabbit Mt in vicinity of tunnel. At east portal of "siphon tunnel" is remarkably variable section of the Lytle is exposed. Measurement difficult owing to the variability and slope on cut. - Surface of hill 25!± Sandstone (3rd) eueubedded, brown weathering, fine-grained. Worm tubes ⊥ and some faceted bedding planes. Disconformity A. 2.0 to 3.0 Argillaceous siltstone; yellow weath, grades to unit below. B. 17.0 Argillaceous siltstone and silty claystone, light gray to gray with greenish cast. Stains yellow in irreg patches on weathering. C. 7.5 to 8.0 Sandstone, fine to med-grained 28
