Grape Creek section - 1½ mi SW Canon City Gerbage Gulch. From bottom up, starting at top of pink- grzy fine grained flzzgy sandstone 4' in Morrison. A. 30.0 Obscured, probably variegated claystone. B. 9.8 Variegated green & red and green claystone. C. 11.0 Interbedded brick red fine grained sandstone + siltstone, argillaceous, and some silty claystone. D. 16.2 Sandstone, fine grained, massive x-12m, light gray to yellow w/cthy with interbeds argillaceous siltstone and fine ss in upper 5' Upper part cross bedded to platy, lky qr locally gets massive later below. Pink staining in upper part. unconformity 1E 70.8 Sandstone, massive x bedded, conglomeratic, beds cql in loosest 35', chiefly fine to med-gr. bou weath, tabular x-12m to x-bedded.
