Sand Creek section: - notes Bob Carpenter will send it. Where section measured in drew only 2 foot or so of typical Lytle, but up ridge to N, it thickens to at least 10'; However, it was difficult to spot disconformity up ridge as the shale just above it leused out up dip bringing base of SS above it into contact with basal Glacigern sand. Thus Lytle's upper lens appears continuous up into Glacigary locally, S of drew, and in it, the calc SS above uncont can be found, though it is not as clear cut as at Skyline or Garbage gulch. Only 3 bentonite-like beds seen in Sand Cr. section, one thin one near top and other in top bl. sh. next above bottom Glen sh. One near discont. discont lower bent' ss T cgl btm worth. ss lens sh SS ss sh dominantly ben shale some fine thumb-bed ss &/or siltsta.
