30 May 1800 Added 1 M. lewis to nest (so a total of 7!)
4 Aug 1030 Put out Food on platform. Took down last
night's ambusher - no one went in. Not much of
an acorn crop here.
6 Sept 1635 Hello holes (nada). Gave 'em dog food.
8 Sept 1730-1735 Spy. 1 Flight From near nest, 1 to
other tree holes (area) and 2 Flites to a point in
the decrepit tree past that one. Hello'd - nada. Food
12 Sept 1145-1155 Spy. Nada
13 Sept 1240-1330 Spy. Very slow, but saw 2 Flights to the
"other" tree (historical nest). Will check. Climbed.
Its about 1 m deep. I think not a nest.
