1992 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus MPHF HNHR 1 Apr 1410 200 acorns (300 if that tree isn't UPHF) 4 Apr 1500 Walt had reported bird in hole above '91 nest (other limb). I checked - empty. 14 Apr Jim sees 1 bird roost in low hole, Valerrie had 4 birds in the high vertical hole at UPHF 15 Apr Roost watch. Lotsa weirdness. 1 bird in W tree in cutout (2 door), at least 2 in 91 nest tree in lowish hole under the knot. (Ambush set at UPHF - nada) 21 Apr 1430 Val reports birds in the 90 hole (double door in hard to climb tree) - showing great interest in looking in it. I climb & peep (a pretty good one I'd say). Empty but nice chips. Probably egg tossing. I set a blind. I'd like to get their blood. The ambush is still set on the 91 hole. I hear activity on the backside of Haystolt across the road From PHF. 26 Apr 1400 - 1630 Watched For egg tossing. Not a damn thing. No one even visited the hole (Tho were in tree) 28 Apr Both 99 lay in the good hole (this brings egg total to 4 [3 normal + 1 runt].
