1992 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus MurF HNHR 27 May Nest ambush. Start 0630. Caught 1774 (after I mishap). T implant. 28 May Nest ambush. Foggy. Start 0645. Birds around but wouldn't Feed. 9 Finally Fed once, then dead again At 0815 the ambusher Fell (birds went nuts) I reset. At 0830 I sent Val out of the blind to draw off the birds, but when still no visits by 0905, I quit. Retied ambusher (Far back). Will try again Saturday. The birds were acting weird... some garricks + drumming. 29 May Nest Ambush. Start at 0730, 9 showed - Fed at 0800, then crows, a little weirdness, and Finally caught B 1813 at 0850. He's molting and his right eye is dark like a baby's. Bled r control implant. 30 May 1800 Added a runt M. Lewis to nest. 4 June 0700 Banded r bled kids (2). 4 Aug 0940 Put out dog Food. Sycamore Fell nearby. 5 Aug 1215 Platform empty : added Food. 6 Sept 1540 Hello'd 92 hole (nada) added Food. 8 Sept 1620-1635. Spy From above cv2. Sometimes I amaze myself. Found today's 4th nest! It's in the tree off toward Cvette, Further out on the same limb I made the 8.5 cut (I think this hole is also open) Don't seem to be incubating or feeding old kids. 9 Sept 1645 LE 39 (13.4), LB: 43 (13.8) 13 Sept Arrive 0740, set ambush by 0830, wait (Cooper's hawks, spooky birds) Adults feed some, no juvs; ball falls at 1045.
