Sample r stress series. 21 Sept 0630-1100. Geez, a long time to sit in a blind. Very slow. BM Fed occasionally, a 9 juv snuck in (once) and I didn't recognize her til she stuck her head out. Grr. Opened hole - they're down to 2 kids (one bigger). I fed em. Then the head broke off the nail and it took forever to remedy. Roost watch: Soon after arriving, I heard a bird get murdered. Scream after scream. Very disturbing. Watched the Fence hole - 2 birds went in. 22 Sept Ambush! But the pole doesn't telescope, r it was a highish hole, so 1 bird escaped while I was poking.
