22 May: Vanx's swift nest in big hollow of ARSW
nest tree on Arnold. Couldn't see nest, but
saw birds going in repeatedly.
23 May: After years as the premier bat roost at
Hastings, the slats on the gables of the stucco
house have been sealed off. It seems the new
occupants find them disagreeable. What a crock of
shit. So they shit - we can't live in sealed bubbles.
What's a little bat shit on the window pane? What
hypocrisy! It sickens me.
