Start checking for hatching on 508 (bled 425) 8 May 0700 3 babies, eggs 4÷6 unhatched. 9 May 1400 RL = 11.4, LL = 7.8, RW = 7.3, LW = 6.4, B = 5.3 All looked Fine (though a couple had cuts) 10 May 0600 Took the 3 biggest to KOUT. In the pm Walt put a big Gate chick in here with the 2 kids. He had accidentally sawed the chick's wing off. 13 May 1300 Implanted 1783 w 2 T implants. Weighed etc. All 3 Kids doing Fine. 15 May 0930 Remove the 2 Ravi kids to KOUT, got the big Ravi kid from KOUT & brought him back to Ravi. Bigger = R, smaller = B 16 May 0825 For ducks I bled BF 1787 + HF 2127 21 May 0600 Bled 1783 for T. Implants Fine (white) 25 May 1830 Bled - banded the Ravi chick (2461) in anticipation of his move into Gate tomorrow. 26 May 1230 67.5g 60 23 34 11 22 18 Yep, he's much smaller than the Gate kids 28 May 0830 Lapped all 3 &T: RW (T boy) = 4.5 fov, RO = 4, Gt not a good lap (the membrane problem) est @ 4 fov.
