1994 M. Stanback 3 M. Formicivorus Ravi H N H R (12 Apr) 1400 w=46g, 14.0 calm, LB = 43.7, 13.5. Removed both r put a LHay runt in instead. I took both Ravi kids + put 'em in LHay. Now Ravi has 3 of the 4 LHay kids. 15 Apr 1600 Put the 2 big LHay kids back in LHay (left runt) 16 Apr 0800 Runt gone! I Found him mostly eaten r stored in a hole. Cannibalism! (again). I took him back to the lab to get tissue, but they had eaten all the goodies (brain, heart, liver, etc). Oh well, easy come, easy go. 20 Apr Still no eggs in other cavity (which now has Fresh chips r birds) Have been giving them mealworms daily. 21 Apr Still no egg. Green & stayed inside. Mealworms 22 Apr 1300 Still no egg. Mealworms. 23 Apr 1100 Egg #1. Guess I shoulda bled them. MaƱana 24 Apr 0915 No new egg! 1000 Still no egg! (Also checked at 1400 - no egg) 25 Apr 0820 Marked egg #2. Bled all except BF 26 Apr 0930 Marked egg #3. 27 Apr 28 Apr 1300 A 5th egg! Didn't mark. 29 Apr 1200 What gives? 5 eggs, only 3 marked (2, 3, -4). I labeled one of the blanks #5 w pencil, the other as #6. I should check again for a subtle "1" on one of them (I can't imagine I wouldn't've labeled it) Anyway, maybe there's a connection with the 24 Apr gap. #2 = 25.8 x 20.6, #3 = 28.2 x 20.3, #4 = 27.4 x 20.4,
