1994 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus BKOK HNHR 2 Apr See Katie's notes. Just as Jeremy said, there seems to be an upper + lower BKOK. The "upper" birds sit in the big tree to W (top) of BKOK Field (in the brushy woods) They fly off to the top edge of Bian Field. The "lower" birds hang out in the lower big BKOK trees (down around the big dead snag by the P.O. hole. The lower birds have a banded ♂ + a NOBA ♂ - ♀ (again, see Katie's notes). No good looks. 9 RW(M) M , 2 M [illegible] (sitting beside e/o) 1190 r 2237. We return at 1015 r I get W E W (W) ♂ (for sure) = 2238 LB M/Y ♂ = 2239 ♂ KW M = ? A total of 5 birds at "upper", one of which flew to "lower", the rest flew towards A1. So... these 5 birds are the BKOK birds, except I didn't see BM 2177 r I did see a mystery ♂ KW M Jeremy did see 2177 on 940312. Could I be mistaking mystery for 2238? In my humble opinion, I'd say BKOK has divided in 2. In fact the lower birds have stores in the big snag by the P.O. tree. We'll assume uBKOK still has access to their very full granary! 2 May 1200 LB=26.6, R=14.9, LP=29.9, DB=30.1. Put 5 Rant Kids in (banded) took these 4. I put R into the Lamb nest. Took other BVN. Put LB in R3. Put LP + DB in Plge. (R later disappeared from Lamb)
