Formicivorus R1 HNHR 28 Mar 1400 Hello'd snag - nothing. 29 Mar 0810-0825 Spied on snag From road (nice spot - about 15m N of syc granary - park due W of the Fallen syc stump on the E side of road) No visits to snag. You makes your bed r you sleeps in it. 1 Apr Hello'd holes - nothing (in snag) 4 Apr 1105-1115 Spied on snag - saw nothing (birds heard in tall skinny snag) 5 Apr 1000-1010 Spiot - nothing. Then hell'd non-snag holes. 13 Apr 0717-0727 Spied on snag - nothing In case it hasn't yet been noted officially, they have lots of stores in the big skinny snaggy twin trees by the creek (~1000) 0730-0740 Spied on twin snags - no one showed. 0740-0810 Watched uphill granary. Birds Flycatching. Most came & left uphill, but some flights toward creek. Was going to check, but had to rescue stranded motorist. 18 Apr Katy Finds nest... in snag. 19 Apr 1600 3 Fresh eggs in 3rd hole From top. Marked & measured the 3 (see Walt's notes) 27 Apr 1730 Egg 4 = 24.6 x 19.3, eg 5 = 24.85 x 19.1. Bugger all - don't know which is omega. LED = 21 Apr (chat start 501) 2 May Didn't make it over yesterday. 1445: B=5.5, RW=8.3, RL=8, LL=7.5, LW=6.7.
