Bugger all - only 1 bird in (a ♂ I think) Another bird sat in tree or yelled or left. I think I heard a 3rd bird. I do believe those 3 HM are gone. I suppose I'll ambush tomorrow. 17 Mar Ambush! (HSTPD, HBDE). To my chagrin, the door was not removable (yesterday it wobbled but that was before it started sliding) Anyway, I ♂, but its a HM (whose bands are wrong on the Fieldlist). Did an initial - 1 hr bleed. Left a gall near hole. Lap. 29 Mar 0630 Hello holy tree or ravine hole - nothin. 1 Apr 1130 " " " 4 Apr Hello holes - nothin 12 Apr Walt Finds nest - 2 eggs. I set blind. New hole - over- hangs the road in the holy tree. 13 Apr Thanks alot Walt - I ask you not to cut the hole until! After the watch - you do it right beforehand! Anyway, Katy sees 2 ♂ Helpers incubating! 14 Apr 0830 Walt climbs - Finds just 3 eggs. Did you think that perhaps this isn't the best time to mark eggs? Roost watch: Katy watches ravine hole - no one shows. She hears birds at nest tree. 15 Apr Katy roost watches From blind - sees 3 birds into high hole 27 Apr 1440 LW=9.9, RW=8.9, LL=8.8, RL=7.5. Look Fine. 29 Apr 1000 I bring the cold CVI chick over For Fostering DB/0 LW=DG=15.1, RW=LP=12.8, LL=LG=12.7, RL=10.7. Katy will do a watch here this afternoon (5 chicks).
