1994 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus CVI HNHR 1 May 1200 Walking by the windmill, I hear tap-tap-tap like an ACW in a cavity. And there it is, an acw in a cavity. I don't know if this really is a CVI bird, but it's my best guess. 4 May Roost watch at Murt. Sounds like CVI roosting in nest hole. 19 May 0910 Hell'd 94a hole, mystery windmill hole - nothing. 20 May Walt gets bird in the windmill hole. So why didn't I ambush after they failed? Because at heart I worry about messing up nests. Dumb, dumb....
