They're Friendly with a single NOBA 9. On our way over here we saw 1 bird at Blm 2. A resident? Spillover-Franks? 9 May Val reports bird Flying From here to DKHW 11 June Put up a platform w Food at Blm3 'hello'd holes (nada). *(0910-0930 Spied on Blm) -not even a bird sighted) *(0945 Put up platform w/ Food at Blm 2) 12 June Blm1: Put up a platform w Food 4 Aug Blm1: 0730: Put out dog Feed. Very Few acorns on trees around here. Fall nest less likely? (The vack in cecn has already been stripped of its baby acorns) Blm2: 0745: Put out dog Food. Not that many acorns here. Fall nest unlikely? Blm3: 0800: Very Few acorns here. Did I drive down to Hastings for nothing? Put out dog Food. There's some weirdness between Blm 3 + DKHW. Some garticks in no man's land, some chasing, some drumming at Blm 3. A NOBA 9 in no man's land Flew towards OKCO. Was Followed by a bird From Blm 3. Afterwhich I heard birds at DKHW. What gives? Blm1: 1100 Saw 9 & GWC(W)m (1930?) + 8 here. 5 Aug 1130 Blm3: platform empty; put on more 7 Aug Blm3: Roost watch. Birds in woods in tree w multi-trunk, 8 Aug 1400 (Blm3) No good holes here.
