Breeding season has begun.(couldn't reach eggs) N.B. so lots birds roasting on the eggs here. 12 Apr 1300 Oops. I never got Final clutch size: Walt never got Final clutch size. Climb (with contortions was able to reach chicks - so I'd brought Jenny up For nothing). Anyway, 4 chicks, 1 inf egg. LG = 19.5, DB = 18.2, LP = 15.9, r = 7. Removed runt r put in Ravi 1400 Ended up taking 3 of the 4 r put 'em in aviary. Put the 2 Ravi kids in LHay. 13 Apr 1330 The LHay kid in LHay is Fine (27g). I gave him some mealworms, then set r tied off ambush. J did nest watch (Cam) reports all birds Feeding. 15 Apr 0720 Set r ready. After @ 20 min I nab HM 2245 (the First to arrive). Bleed r T implant (I decide [green] against lapping). At 0845 I nab HM 2246 along w BF 2003. He gets bled r empty implants, she gets bled. The little chick doing Fine. 2245 = grn, 2247 = pink, 2003 = black stripes 1600 Put 2 big kids From Avi (LHay Kids) back in here left runt in aviary. [He died 16 Apr - eaten by adults) 26 Apr 1400 Banded 4 chicks (only 1 Ravi kid LB). I smelled rot but cbody not in. 3 LHay kids Fine. Tied off ambusher. 28 Apr 0800 Set r ready.
