In that new hole (that I Found back in March) about 5 Feet under the double ladder hole by creek across From the woodpile Facing the ravine. 3 May 1300 I gave it a try. Strapped to next (live) limb, but couldn't quite reach it. Maybe Walt can. May Walt checks hole - empty! 15 May 1530 I notice a bird Flush From the agave, There's a nice low hole! I so get ladder & peep it - 2 Fresh eggs or a ruint egg! A bit late For a nest watch, but I'll trap birds in the am. 1615 Start nest watch. 162800 land, 162900 enter, 163000 HO, 163030 BD, 163130 HO, 163230 BD, 163400 HO, 3600 BD, 3745 HO, 38 leave, At 1650 Dale - Robbie came out to play by nest. Stop watch 16 May 0540 Set & ready. Nab BM at 0547. Like last time, very difficult to bleed. A g almost went in while I was waiting For 2nd bleed. A jay did go in, I released & - unset trap. (16 May) Jeremy watched hole For 2 hrs this am - nothing! I did a quick spy late in afternoon & saw & at the hole - what gives? 17 May 0910 - 0930 Set trap. Got a jay - no ACW interest, No one in hole. Damn. 18 May 1500 5 normal eggs + 1 ruint. Didn't cut open. Oh well. 21 May 1230 Cut open hole. 5+1 ruint.
