(bird in hole on arrival) Moreover the eggs are graded in size ooooooo. Bizarre! 12 May 1500 Still incubating dead eggs, I put the 2 Gate runts in and take out the eggs (put in lab Fridge). The newer kid is RL. Before I Fed them, they weighed RL=3.5, -:3.2. The latter kid ato were. 13 May 1430 Bad news... nest empty...damn. There are starving hatchlings at R1, 1800, or Blm 3 that could've gone into here. Egg sizes: 26.6 x 20.2, 25.8 x 19.3, 24.6 x 18.8, 23.8 x 18.75, 23.5 x 18.5, 22.35 x 17.1, 18.95 x 15.3 20 May 1315 Driving by, I see a bird at the hole. 1400 I check it, empty. 24 May 1200 Bird in hole! Check 7 Fresh eggs (assorted sizes). Didn't open. LED: 24 May? 25 May 0945 Set blind. 1 June 1030 Checked nest. All eggs dead - again. I go to Chgo or pull out a doomed runt to stick in here, along w replacement eggs + some shells 3 June 0800 Chick alive + well. Eggs + shells still there.
