1993 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus 2 CVI HNHR 30 Apr 0700 Set r ready. By 0800 the ants were swarming, so much so the HF refused to land. The ♂ I wanted (ZC54) was not much in evidence. He Finally went in @@ 0830, but the BF was also inside r I didn't want her. The ants calmed down @ 0930, and ZC54 Finally went in at 1010, while 9 1969 was also inside. I bled both (to put a ring of cutters around the hole) and took to lab. I did a final bleed after 1 hr and lapped ♂ r gave him control implants (on same side r thru same hole as lap - this is different From yesterday where I lapped one side r implanted the other). Incidentally, they fed (esp BM + BM) during the worst of the ants.
