nest up there. Kids big (~ 2 weeks +) (just
a peep - cutting will be a bitch - thick). A
rush to do an implant experiment. Roost watch
2nite, 2 watches tomorrow
Roost watch: Nothing at Fence hole or snag hole.
One bird into high knot hole in granary. Bugger all.
3 June 1500 Cut open hole. Set r tied ambush. 3 big chicks.
4 June Set r ready at 0515. Caught 3 BM between
then and quitting at 1100. See cap rees. Rain.
Damn, I wish I had been more choosy about that
1st bird (shoulda caught 2171 - to change bands or
get asymptotal measures). Caught 2178(T), 1616, 2038
5 June Set r ready @ 0740. Red From yesterday fed twice,
black visited once, r 2172 came lots. I really
wanted 2171, but after the rain started, I caught
2172 (on his 5th visit) r gave him T implant.
7 June 0930 Band + bleed (stress series) the 3 kids.
11 June 1200 Added the 2 biggest kids From A1 here.
