MurF birds were up at 0525, but CVGR was quiet till 0545, when several birds vocalized From the Rajn part of ter 9 Apr 1200 What's going on here. 10 Apr Well, something... Vo-E come by in the afternoon to Find a power struggle... being won by a Wate & mystery &. Roost watch -nothing. Damn, I missed my chance to get Finch offset blood. 10 Apr Set a net in gran by 0820. Caught the mystery & (Z180 from MPH F). Bleed r stress series, painted green r released. 13 Apr Roost watch trad tree Fence tree, snag tree. Nothing I Hashed the creek hole afterward - nada 16 Apr Sergio by trough, Kelly by Fence hole, me by 92a hole. Sounded like roosted in granary. 17 Apr 0730-0815 Tried netting & w & dummy. No interest whatever. The only dummy is me... I should've used Z180 in a cage to catch &. Roost watch scheme. Eric watched the Fence r snag holes; I kept them out of the granary - where they really wanted to be (esp the knot hole) (I did see 1 mount/copulation interrupted). They Finally flew towards Eric, but only 1 to hole o it left. Damn. Afterwards I realized I can put up a net tomorrow wite. Worth a try. 18 Apr Eric reports that the 3 CVGR HF are at Gazo! (Just as I thought!)
