Where else? 19 Apr Roost watch: I show up at 1840 or there's a bird in the high hole (ambush hole) or they are right below it, so instead of watching, I moseyed to Bln 3 22 Apr Roost watch: Eric reports ~5 birds in high hole. Don't want to get my hopes up - but hot dog! (Aquit Kidding yourself - you're sick of this) 23 Apr Set ambush. As the birds were gathering For bed, a Cooper's hawk came through. ACW's scattered - sounded like there were a dozen. Anyway, not all of them came back. Damn. ~4 in. Manana 24 Ap Ambush! 4 birds - 2 88 (the oldest two) and 2 99 (the oldest two) - more than co- incidence? Anyway, bled or sorta stress series. All 4 back to lab for lavage, lap on 88 (piss poor for both), and I removed 2 T implants from 8 1285. I resist the temptation to implant the 88, and settle for paint instead. 28 Apr See UPHF notes. Walt Finds nest! 24 May Veronica reports no feeding yet. 27 May 1230 1 egg hatched (RL), didn't weigh. 29 May 1145 RL = 9, LL = 6, RW = 5.3, LW = 3.1 (he's a goner, [but Fresh] but I didn't feel like killing him for tissue. 2 dead eggs - removed both. (one 25.1 * 18.95) (1 inf, 1 dead)
