(18 Apr) Roost watch: No one into low holes (Kelly). Where else?
19 Apr Roost watch: I show up at 1840 or there's a bird
in the high hole (ambush hole) or they are right
below it, so instead of watching, I moseyed to Bln 3
22 Apr Roost watch: Eric reports ~5 birds in high
hole. Don't want to get my hopes up - but hot dog!
(Aquit Kidding yourself - you're sick of this)
23 Apr Set ambush. As the birds were gathering For bed,
a Cooper's hawk came through. ACW's scattered -
sounded like there were a dozen. Anyway, not
all of them came back. Damn. ~4 in. Manana
24 Ap Ambush! 4 birds - 2 88 (the oldest two)
and 2 99 (the oldest two) - more than co-
incidence? Anyway, bled or sorta stress series.
All 4 back to lab for lavage, lap on 88
(piss poor for both), and I removed 2 T
implants from 8 1285. I resist the temptation
to implant the 88, and settle for paint
instead.
28 Apr See UPHF notes.
Walt Finds nest!
