1993 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus GAZO HNHR 1 Apr Roost watch at the hole down toward the trough (r CVGR). Not a peep. 3 Apr Roost watch main trees. 3-4 birds into higher nest hole. 4 Apr 1800 Checked hole - empty but some chips. Went ahead r set ambusher. 4 hesitant birds in. 5 Apr Ambush! Got the 4 and bled. Painted both 99 and released w/o lapping. Took 718 + 2057 back For laps. Sadly, I overanesteized 2057 and killed him. And there was only 1 bird (2134 - whom I caught 10 days ago at UPHF). See cap rec. Eric saw 1 bird into the (higher) nest hole last night.
