1 Apr Roost watch at the hole down toward the trough (r
CVGR). Not a peep.
3 Apr Roost watch main trees. 3-4 birds into higher nest hole.
4 Apr 1800 Checked hole - empty but some chips. Went
ahead r set ambusher. 4 hesitant birds in.
5 Apr Ambush! Got the 4 and bled. Painted both 99
and released w/o lapping. Took 718 + 2057 back For
laps. Sadly, I overanesteized 2057 and killed him.

0830 Power struggle in full swing. Just fucking
great. We release 8 718 r hope For the best.

over) It's all the UPHF 8, including babies USA B.

13 Apr Sergio roost watched the downhill hole - nada
Apparently the UPHF 88 are still here (w 9?)
16 Apr Roost watch: Marni sees 2 birds into higher or low holes.
17 Apr Ambush. well, the hole was higher than I thought,
and more overgrown, and deeper too. And there was
only 1 bird (2134 - whom I caught 10 days
ago at UPHF). See cap rec. Eric saw 1
bird into the (higher) nest hole last night. Starlings
in the Fence knot hole.
