1993 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus H-B HNHR 3 Apr 0710-0730 Spied From lab, Saw 4 birds (plus a 5th that was chased repeatedly). At one point a starling Flew Towards the uphill hole (pointing To Fence), but ACW's chased it and then landed r looked in. Quite a bit of starling chasing in this part of the tree, but no more visits to the hole. 11 Apr Eric r Veronica both report Blm two helper ?(2123?) Wow! this is a Fall baby breeding now ! Reproductive at age 6 months !! 3 June 1630 Well, the ladder doesn't reach ... but I manage to rig it so I can reach the (very rotten) hole. I put a gall on instead of an ambusher. Pole? 7 June 1230 Finally Figured out how to get into the hole. B = 47.2, Y = 47.6, - = 35.2. Set + tied off an ambusher. Est hatch: 27 May 8 June Set + ready at 0630. ♂ 1856 started coming at 0655, but I want 1857 (1856 has no tail). At 0735 ♀ 1857 came r went in - but backed out as I pulled the string - Disaster! Off he Flew- terrified. Bugger all - will I ever get him now. Well, I finally did catch him(T), after which 1856(C) was a cinch. 1856's tail has been cut straight off, like scissors ... so he won't have a tail 'til he molts, r even then it will be gradual. 21 June 1430 Banded + bled kids (semi ss).
