He's the control. 18 May Happy Birthday to me!! I'm officially more than old (31). Anyway, set and ready at 0730, 1526 showed after about 25 mins, but the string stuck (Like yesterday) so I waited til another visit. After about 4 tries (pulling so hard I thought the string would break, I gave up r went to Find the problem. Everything OK!?! I gave the string a lite shake, the needle Fell the ball Fell. Bugger all! Had to climb r reset. 0900 start. 0916 Nab! Bleed, implant w T, measure, release. 26 May The watch here this am was somewhat Fucked because a WEBL walked up, set a blind, r did a watch nearby. 19 June 0800 Rebecca found the 2nd nest here (same hole) The other day; I checked this morning. 6 eggs! Semi-Fresh semi-opaque. Eft hatch 26 June. 26 June 0830 Hot! 'chicks: 10.6, L=5.4, W=4.4. One chick died while hatching. Actually murdered (brain was eaten w there was alot of blood on shell ... so I'd dea say the cannibalism was the cause of death and not just scavenging. The chick had nearly Finished opening the shell. Another egg contained a dead chick (recent, but too Far gone for tissue). Last egg had living chick (would hatch 27 June) tissue (2328). This hole Falling apart.
