1993 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus REF1-CECN HNHR 9 Apr 1500 Came up with intention of stealing their log, but seeing the trouble I had gone to to got it set (and the 4 Fresh chips in the bottom), I change my mind. Feedeo had fallen, we put it back up. 16 Apr Veronica reports much interest in (v bird in) traditional CECN hole. I check it in afternoon (1300) (new string, etc) and... empty. Damn. 24 Apr Walt checks hole + Finds 6 eggs! 4 Apr 1300 RL: 6.6, RW = 6.3, LW = 4.1, 2 eggs were in F, the last egg looks OK, but wasn't pipping or even peeping. Damn, I suppose I'll have to climb on 6My, LW has a chunk of wing pecked out. 6 May RL= 13.2 = DG, RW = 12.6, LW = 10.0, r = 2.8. I Figure he hatched yesterday, so est 6, 9.5, 7, 4. Pecked up. I removed him (either for tissue or exp in Murf) 17 May 0815 Set and ready. At 0915 8'1526 went in, but I'm after 1525. At 0943- 9'1325 started feeling I think things were slow because I just today put up the ambushers, or also, the rope string is (now) too close to the hole. Anyway, Finally at 1050, 8'1525 went in, but the ambusher stuck (but never left nails). He suspected nothing, returned in 18 minutes, and I nabbed him then (no helpers ever came). While I was climbing to him, the rope broke off a big (1'x6") piece of bark beside the hole. I hope its not a problem,
